New Quay (Cei Newydd) is a seaside town in Ceredigion, Wales on Cardigan Bay with a harbour and large sandy beaches. The town lies on the Ceredigion Coast Path and the Wales Coast Path.
- New Quay is the perfect place to make special memories with your family and friends. There are lots of cosy pubs serving good food; little cafes; wonderful fish and chips and the best Gelato Shop.
- Fishing, sailing, water sports and dolphin spotting are among the main attractions. Dolphins can often be seen from the pier, boat trips or even from the windows and terraces at Nant Llys. Cardigan Bay provides the perfect backdrop in the gardens of both our cottages.
- New Quay has strong literary associations with the poet Dylan Thomas and his play Under Milk Wood.
- New Quay is close to Aberaeron, Cardigan and Aberystwyth which boasts many special restaurants and shops. It is approximately 90 miles from Cardiff.
We have two very special cottages in the heart of New Quay, and are within a few minutes walk from each other and the beaches, restaurants and cafes.
- Believed to have been built in the 1800's our first cottage, Nant Llys is a former fisherman's cottage and Grade 2 listed building. Our second cottage, Efail Fach, is a former blacksmiths also built around 1800's.
-Nant Llys is situated on Marine Terrace and has the most spectacular views from the lounge and bedrooms and also from the terrace in the garden. It sleeps 4.
- Efail Fach is situated at the end of White Street and also has stunning views, particularly, from the newly constructed elevated terrace in the garden. It sleeps 6.
- Both cottages are recently renovated with tasteful and modern interiors. The cottages are strictly non-smoking. We welcome well behaved dogs with prior approval.
